24th of July BBQ!

The Riley's (Nichole, Dan and baby Audrey) had us over for a BBQ Thurs night along with Sara and Thomas, Robbie, Shanna, and their little girl Daisy. We had so much fun eating, playing games, and liting off fire works for the kids(and the adults)! I know I have probably posted way to much this month... but what can I say, we've had a fun eventful summer! And by the way, this next pic of me I hate but I had to suck up my pride and post it anyway cause I was lauging SO hard at Shanna dancing around and singing trying to get the kids to smile! haha... shanna you are a little cookey but thats why I love ya!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAYLOR!

Taylor turned 26 on Sunday (20th) and we had a whole 3 days of celebrating! Saturday I took him out on a date, Sunday we were with my family, and Monday his fam took us to dinner and to go see Batman! And then last night we had "shake night" with our friends, so I guess you would say 4 days of celebrating! (Any excuse to party right?) Anyway, I wanted to post some pictures of Tay growing up. He was the cuttest little boy and the first pic reminds me of Payson now! (He is about the same age in that pic). I also want everyone to know what an AMAZING father and husband he is! I couldn't have asked for anyone better to share my life with! I LOVE YOU BABE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Payson's clown hair

Payson has had a head full of hair since the day he was born! I guess that comes from the fact that I was a week overdue and he got a little over cooked! So when I took him to shanna's to get his hair cut a couple weeks ago I told her to leave it a little long cause I love it! Tay on the other hand, has been wanting to buzz it for a while so I finally gave in and let him buzz it last week! I was sad to see all his blond hair on the ground but after Tay styled it he looked like such a little stud! I love it!

Fireworks with the Aplanalp's

After spending the day in Pinevalley, we packed up and headed down to St. George to watch fireworks with my family. I think Addi was more excited about the sparklers than she was about the ones in the sky! Payson just watched in amazement at all the different lights and colors. Overall we had a very fun and eventful holiday!

Pinevalley 4th of July with Jacobson's

We headed up to PV to hang out with Tays family for the 4th. Matt and Laura came down from SLC so it was fun to hang out with everyone. We had a fun day of festivities with the townspeople of Pinevalley! We had a breakfast program in the morning, a picnic with games and entertainment in the afternoon and then Laura, Matt, MJ, Tay and I all went on a 10 mile hike up PV mountain (Ok maybe it wasn't that long!!) while grandma and heapa played with the kids!!

Hair cuts!!

Addi's hair grows so fast and she wont ever let me do anything to it, or if by some miracle she does let me, she has it out in less than an hour! So I have been trying to convince her to get it "trimmed" and every time I mention it she cries and says she doesn't want to look like a boy! She had it cut once when she was a baby ( we weren't too fond of the baby mullet) but the closest thing we have come to a hair cut since then is when Addi tries to cut her pony tail off with a steak knife... like Mulan. (Dang Disney movies!) Anyways... Shanna our friend and neighbor cuts hair and Addi finally agreed that she could trim it just a little bit. Payson of course needed a hair cut the day he was born! (He looked more like a toddler than a new born!) So he had his FIRST hair cut (sorry mom I did not save a lock of his hair) last Wed and he did good of course cause he had no clue what was going on.

Addi Loves to play with Payson and dress him up like a girl. She will try to put bows in his hair or make my jewelry into a princess crown! I dont think he minds as long as he is getting her attention but Taylor on the other had... not so happy!
